You know, I don't mean to sound insensitive or anything, and I'm reading about everyone being upset about the deaths of their loved ones being disregarded and I'm sorry for your loss. The thing of it is is that we're in a war. There's loss. It's not supposed to be easy. No matter what side you're on, we shouldn't disregard that people's loved ones were taken away from them, and not by choice. Instead of bickering about who has it the worst, you should take time and spend it with the loved ones you have in your life right now.
So, yeah, I'm stepping off my soapbox now.

Well, we made it! Pompeii is SO COOL. Joanna, we wish you were here. Really. Everyone's talking about how you can outdrink the boss.
Anyways, they said if we get a lot of stuff done today, we can go to Sorrento or Naples. So that means I should be working, not journaling.

Success! I'm officially off desk duty. If I had to read one more report about someone getting attacked by some ancient curse or falling into a trap, I was going to scream. Not at the goblins though. I don't want to know what the consequences of that would be. My head might be gone. I even thought about modifying some of the stories to sound cooler because some of the Seniors, not naming any names, just follow every rule by the book. No one on here if anyone's wondering. ANYWAYS, not the point. The point is, I'm going on a trip to Pompeii with a couple of the Sr. Cursebreakers and some archaeologists. They said if I do well, they'll send me out more, so yes! Not that I don't like being home, but I'm ready for adventures. The sad part is I'm going to miss seeing whether Arkie's valentines are real. DANTE MATE, photos. Make sure Arkie doesn't get a hold of them and destroy them.

OK, having to adjust from the dry desert of Egypt to the snowy weather of England is definitely going to be difficult. I think I gave my snow jacket to a native in Peru who thought the fur on the hood was a sacrificial animal to the gods. This definitely means it's time to go shopping. The horror. Maffy! HELP!
